Rooney was last night undergoing an emergency Covid-19 test after he was visited at home by an infected pal.

According to British media, Josh Bardsley, 21, presented Rooney with a luxury watch last Thursday.

However, Josh had already been contacted by Test and Trace and was later found positive. The unaware ex-England skipper, 34, then played for Derby on Friday night.

Rooney, 34, said his health, as well as his family's and team-mates, had been jeopardised by someone acting against government guidelines.

Bardsley had delivered a luxury watch to Rooney at his mansion on Thursday.

A spokesman said, 'Wayne met Josh Bardsley briefly when he visited Wayne's house on Thursday.

'Wayne was not told by Josh or anyone else before or during that visit that Josh had been told to take a Covid-19 test.

'Had he known Josh had been contacted by Track and Trace or had tested positive he would have refused to have seen him.

'Wayne is angry and disappointed that he, his family and his club have been put in this position by someone acting secretly and in breach of government and NHS guidelines. He is now taking a Covid-19 test as a result of his contact with Josh.'

According to British government guidelines, anyone who has been in contact with a person who has tested positive must self-isolate for 14 days.

Rooney has previously spoken of the ­danger of getting Covid-19. In March he complained that players were treated as 'guinea pigs' by the authorities after games continued while other sports were stopped.

Kenya's Narok Governor Samuel Tunai is receiving emergency medical attention at Narok County Referral Hospital.

The Governor was involved in a helicopter crash on Saturday evening in Melili, Narok North. He was returning to his home after attending the funeral of Mzee Tempo ole Sai, the father to his County Executive Committee Member in charge of Finance, Julius Sasai.

According to local media reports, three other occupants — Narok East MP Ken Kiloku, Tunai's bodyguard and the pilot — also survived the crash.

The cause of the crash was not immediately known.

In Russia, starting October 19, all visitors of establishments operating between midnight and 6 a.m. will be required to scan a QR code or send a text message to a designated number prior to entering the venue, said Sergei Sobyanin the Mayor of Moscow.

'In case one of the visitors is diagnosed with Covid-19, this system allows us to quickly notify all other guests that they are at risk and must promptly get tested for Covid-19,' Sobyanin said.

However, the Moscow city mayor's statement didn't give further details such as where individuals should register their phone numbers.

Given current rates of infection in Russia's capital, city authorities have 'every reason' to order bars and clubs to close down like they did in the spring, Sobyanin said.

Russia's official number of coronavirus cases have risen above1,354,163.

This system was developed as an alternative to closing them given their importance in the local economy, he said.

Nightclubs, where it's nearly impossible to enforce mask-wearing or social distancing, are viewed as prime spots for the virus' spread.

Russia has all reason to remain cautious with handling of night clubs and bars including other establishments that open extended hours.

In South Korea, often praised for its effective handling of the initial Covid-19 outbreak, a flare-up of infections in May was linked to a Covid-19 positive partygoer who allegedly infected at least 100 people in one night.

Meanwhile,Late last month, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson ordered all pubs and restaurants in England to close at 10 p.m. in an effort to combat a rise in infections.

Political pundits in Burundi are observing a bizzare situation under which the First Lady is seemingly fighting to rise against the protruding shadow of the former First Lady.

Former First Lady Denise Nkurunziza continues to appear in very important events. Conferences for women, crusades of prayers, all of this framed by a protocol and security to make you green with envy. On the other hand, the authentic first lady, Angéline Ndayishimiye is timidly taking her place. But the beginnings are always difficult, one will say.

The ruling powers continue to give them two places for reasons, to say the least, different but obviously which give an interpretation subject to reflection.

Mrs. Ndayishimiye, as the wife of the head of state, embodies the status of the First Lady. She officiates certain ceremonies such as media outings, declarations that resemble positions that are sometimes incompatible with the general policies of the country. Since her husband's investiture, a trip has taken her to the Emirates. No one could take this place away from him. She is the first lady, unique, legal and legitimate.

For Denise Nkurunziza, the After the death of her husband Pierre Nkurunziza, a smooth transition was discreetly ensured, decided perhaps at the highest summit of the system to show gratitude to the works of the late president and to comfort the Nkurunziza family in the worst times.
