  • Joe Biden Holds US Highest Civilian Honour Medal #rwanda #RwOT

    His campaign was packaged as the battle for the soul of the nation and was rallying his supporters together to make Donald Trump a one term President and defeat Republicans across the country.

    Indeed the Joe Biden has quietly kicked out Trump. Under the Democratic Party flag, Joe Biden won the election with 290 Electoral votes above the required 270 (50.6%). Incumbent Donald Trump of the Republican Party fetched only 214 (47.7%).

    In a ceremony at the White House, President Barack Obama awarded Joe the Presidential Medal of Freedom with Distinction—the nation's highest civilian honor.

    A win for Biden could mark the beginning of a dramatic shift in America's attitude toward the world. He will take office in January 2021. He vows to be friendlier to America's allies than Trump, tougher on autocrats, and better for the planet.

    Joe's Story. From Scranton to Wilmington to the White House—with thousands of train rides in between.

    The Bidens

    It all started in a little house on North Washington Avenue. Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr. is born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, the son of Catherine Eugenia Finnegan Biden and Joseph Robinette Biden, Sr., and the first of four children.

    The Bidens moved to Delaware. When Joe is 10, the Biden family moves to Claymont, Delaware, to look for better work. It becomes the state Joe calls home.

    'During my adolescent and college years, men and women were changing the country—Martin Luther King, Jr., John F. Kennedy, Robert Kennedy—and I was swept up in their eloquence, their conviction, the sheer size of their improbable dreams.'

    Joe enrolled at the University of Delaware, where he double majors in history and political science. He goes on to Syracuse University, where he earns his law degree.

    Joe starts a family. Joe married Neilia Hunter at St. Mary's of the Lake in Skaneateles, New York. In the years to come, they have three children together—Joseph R. 'Beau' Biden, III, Robert Hunter, and Naomi Christina.

    The first campaign. Joe practiced law at a firm in Wilmington while also working part-time as a public defender. Later that year, he launches his first-ever campaign for the New Castle County Council, which he won by 2,000 votes.

    Joe sticks up for the little guy—and never stops. As a member of the New Castle County Council, Joe fought against a massive 10-lane highway project that threatened to pave over Wilmington's neighborhoods and push back on the oil companies building refineries on the Delaware coast.

    'We have too often allowed our differences to prevail among us. We have too often allowed ambitious men to play off those differences for political gain. We have too often retreated behind our differences when no one really tried to lead us beyond them.' — Joe Biden, said while announcing his candidacy for the U.S. Senate, 1972.

    Victory turned to tragedy. At age 29, Joe becomes one of the youngest people ever elected to the United States Senate. Weeks later, tragedy strikes the Biden family when Neilia and Naomi are killed and Hunter and Beau are critically injured in an auto accident.

    The 120-mile commute. Joe was sworn into the U.S. Senate at his sons' hospital bedsides, and begins commuting from Wilmington to Washington every day, first by car and then by train, in order to tuck his sons in bed at night and see them get up in the morning. He will continue to do so throughout his time in the Senate. For five years, Joe raises Beau and Hunter as a single father, with the help of his sister Valerie and his family.

    An inspired 80 minutes from an Australian side smarting from a record loss last week in Sydney. A game turned on its head several times through red cards, red cards, yellow cards, and more yellow cards.

    A game played at a frenetic tempo — with big aggression — big hits — and at times perhaps an absence of the kind of level-headed coolness that defines champion sides at the peak of their powers.

    The Wallabies debutants — as they didn't last week under the crucible of pressure — stood tall: Tom Wright, Lachie Stinton (for 34 memorable minutes).

    But key contributions from relative veterans like Marike Koroibete and Taniela Tupou helped spark the home side late on.

    New Zealand, shuffled the pack and blooded plenty of newer faces, but it must be said — largely from the bench, and they still put out a XV that should have been competitive against any team in world Rugby.

  • Burundi President Ndayishimiye Quarantined For 72 Hours #rwanda #RwOT

    President of Burundi Evariste Ndayishimiye who has been away from his country for five days returned last evening and has been booked into a quarantine facility for the next 72 hours upon arrival at Melchior Ndadaye international airport.

    'We have come from a country where the coronavirus still exists, you never know, we protected ourselves when we were there, even today we continue to protect ourselves. But you never know because you know that the virus passes through the air', Ndayishimiye said upon arrival in Bujumbura on Saturday.

    A seemingly exhausted Ndayishimiye after flying 2,253 km said the decision to quarantine himself is part of a continuation of the campaign against covid-19, 'I should heal and not infect others. If we have been contaminated, we must avoid contaminating others. And now we are going to be tested by specialist doctors to really see if we are healthy'.

    Ndayishimiye travelled with the First Lady Angeline Ndayubahe, the Minister of National Defense, Minister of Public Health, Minister in charge of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Agriculture and Livestock and the Minister of Trade. It is not yet clear whether these will all be quarantined.

    On November 2, the President of Burundi, Evariste Ndayishimiye flew from Bujumbura to Malabo the capital of Equatorial Guinea for a five-day state visit,on invitation by his counterpart President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.

    For Ndayishimiye, this was the second visit abroad as a new president of Burundi since he came to power through winning the June elections.

    President Mbasogo had maintained a close relationship with former President Pierre Nkurunziza, who repeatedly visited Equatorial Guinea and also received Mbasogo in Bujumbura.

    For five days, the Burundian and Equatorial Guinean press have been silent on details of Ndayishimiye's visit except for a few twitter posts by Intare House (state house/presidency) carrying only carefully selected pictures to present to the public.

    However, during the presidential campaigns earlier in May, Ndayishimiye dismissed claims that there existed Covid-19 saying the disease was a hoax.

    'Nobody should lie to you that there is a pandemic called coronavirus. Lucky are those that believe in God's protection.  God has protected Burundi from that virus,' the General said during a ruling CNDD-FDD party event.

    In a twist of events six months later upon returning from a visit in Equatorial Guinea, President Ndayishimiye has a different view of the pandemic to which he is so scared of too.

    On Saturday November 7, he called upon all travelers, in particular those coming from countries where the pandemic still exists, to respect the preventive measures against Covid-19.

    Review Of Trip

    Ndayishimiye said the visit helped to take stock of bilateral cooperation and to see together the situation from the point of view of the well-being of the populations of the two countries which he found good.

    He says [him and host] noted that there are great powers that still want to impose their dictates on African countries and agreed it is time to pull themselves together as an African country. It is time to seek their political and economic independence because the opportunities are in Africa, stressed Ndayishimiye.

    The two Heads of State have thus found it essential to connect African countries through networks to realize this dream so that diplomatic and commercial exchanges are a reality in Africa.

    President Ndayishimiye hinted that four cooperation agreements were signed as well as a memorandum of understanding on diplomatic relations. These agreements are in particular the agreement on trade, diplomatic consultation, and the partnership agreement on the reciprocal exemption of visas for holders of diplomatic and service passports, the promotion and reciprocal protection of investments between the two countries, as well as an agreement in the maritime and port fields.

    The Burundian Leader further indicated that he visited four provinces of Equatorial Guinea with his delegation. He was impressed by the significant progress Equatorial Guinea has made, particularly in the education sector, the economy, the exploitation of mineral wealth, road infrastructure, etc.

    Impressed by this visit to Equatorial Guinea, Ndayishimiye has instructed the technical teams of the different ministries to collaborate with those of Equatorial Guinea to implement the agreements that the two Heads of State have signed.

    Le Compte Twitter de la Présidence de la République rwandaise rapporte que Kagame a bien reçu le message de son homologue congolaise, qu’il promet une entière coopération pour éradiquer les problèmes de sécurité observables dans les deux pays.

    Demarche pragmatique : booster les echanges commerciaux
    La démarche semble déjà déclenchée. C’est très clair ! Ce qui importe, le climat de sérénité entre pays se mesure à l’aulne des échanges commerciaux.
    En début de semaine, c’est le Gouvernement provincial du Nord Kivu frontalier avec le rwanda qui décide de la reprise d’intenses activités commerciales transfrontalières entre les villes de Goma (RDC) et Gisenyi (Rwanda).

    Bref, les détracteurs des deux régimes doivent être dans un état comateux ;ceux-là qui pensent toujours multiplier une campagne tous azimuts de diabolisation de Kagame tout en essayant d’armer les mouvements armés illégaux, locaux et étrangers, qui pillulent dans cet Est de la RDC.

    Interets des gros lobbies internationaux en danger : embrigader la societe civile !
    Très subtils, les vrais tireurs de ficelles qui commandent cette haine qu’on croit absurde peuvent être des ONGs européennes opérant dans l’Est de la RDC ou dans la Région entière des Pays des Grands Lacs. Elles, non plus, ne le font pas pour une haine gratuite qu’ils voueraient aux Tutsi congolais ou de la region pour lesquels, croient-elles, Kagame et son régime rwandais est le digne représentant, non ! Elles obéissent à un vaste plan d’idéologisation ethnocentriste conçue par leurs maîtres, les multinationales et autres forts lobbies occidentaux soucieux de garder cette large platebande, véritable scandale idéologique qu’ils peuvent exploiter profitablement dans l’absence de toute législation rationnelle.

    Un veritable travail de sape : commencer par l’Eglise et vlaaan !
    Formidable est le travail de sape exercé sur les Pauvres Congolais de différentes catégories. Pour idéologiser négativement un peuple, on touche son sentiment. Ici, les financeurs de ce projet criminel n’hésitent pas à fournir de gros moyens. Etape finale : Surchauffer les sentiments de supériorité et de victimes d’un petit pays, le Rwanda, qui pille ses ressources. Cette recette est facilement récupérable par de fins machiavel. Le concept de balkanisation peut naître d’un Cardial Fridolin Ambongo. Mais pourquoi ce superministre de Dieu sur la terre congolaise ?

    Bah ! C’est normal il est la cible privilégiée des concessionnaires de grosses mines qui souhaitent payer moins de taxes et impôts a l’Etat congolais et de réaliser de gros profits miniers. Et puis, lui comme Rome sont soucieux de voir à la tête du Grand Congo un homme malléable, Martin Fayulu, leur dauphin. Ils ont décidé de mettre tout le paquet électoral de 2019 et fournir des observateurs électoraux dans tous les coins du pays. Mais comment faire agréer ces observateurs au moment où l’église est apolitique par définition. Toujours est-il que battu, ce candidat et son mentor Fridolin, ayant eu vent d’une visite de haut niveau à Kigali à la veille de la proclamation des résultats du Conseil électoral de la CENI, au moment où la machine de propagande médiatique avait été mise en branle par le Clergé et la société civile congolaise acquise à sa cause, soudainement, les tendances médiatiques s’essoufflent et penchent sur Tshisekedi.

    Et hop ! La faute est au Rwanda et……aux Banyamulenge, ” ces Rwandais qui ont envahi et occupé le Congo “.
    Ce nouveau slogan va donc être adopté et activement ressassé sur tous les médias électroniques. Des Politiciens en mal de célébrité vont s’en approprier, le candidat malheureux Fayulu en tête, accompagné de personnalités dont le Dr Mukwege qui doit beaucoup de reconnaissance à ces ONGs européennes opérant dans la RDC de l’EURAC pour avoir pu percer et être nobélisé.

    C’est aussi d’autres politiciens congolais qui ont des sentiments haineux contre les Tutsi congolais qui occupent beaucoup de hautes fonctions politiques officielles y compris un surnombre dans les Forces armées congolaises. N’ont-ils pas libéré le pays de la dictature de Mobutu (1965-1996) au moment où eux pactisaient avec les forces génocidaires hutu rwandaises qui venaient de fuir le Rwanda et campaient sur les bords du Kivu et de la Rusizi dans l’espoir d’une réorganisation pour revenir en force parachever leur œuvre macabre (1 millions de Tutsi tués) non terminée ?

    Cette idéologie génocidaire adoptée par une certaine tranche de la société civile congolaise qui se cache derrière la fausse accusation de balkanisation du Congo par les Tutsi congolaise obéit donc à un vaste plan où le pauvre politicien congolais semble jouer un jeu qu’il ne comprend pas très bien car le véritable maître tireur de ficelles est bien placé à un niveau très élevé comme un aigle planant.

    Pour cela il a les moyens colossaux qu’il sait distribuer dans la société civile congolaise. Celle-ci gobe cet évangile de la haine à coup de dollars. Elle sait pénétrer à la base communautaire (Eglise catholique, Cardinal Ambongo Fridolin et Mgr Sebastien du Diocèse d’Uvira au Sud Kivu en Tête et autres Lamuka, Magrivi…) et répand son venin comme une traînée de fumée. Le politicien de mauvais alois, les Sebishyimbo, Fayulu, Honoré Ngbanda…récupère l’idéologie propagande de la haine et tente de se faire une santé politique en embrasant et surchauffant davantage les pauvres citoyens.

    En conséquence, des multi milliards de dollars en matières premières stratégiques vont s’envoler semi-clandestinement vers les métropoles industrielles occidentales et extrême orientales au moment où les pauvres politiciens congolais vont prêter une oreille facile à des idées massacreuses. Le pays est incapable d’organiser ses douanes et son office des recettes pour contrôler son commerce d’exportation qu’il soit frontalier ou international.

    Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi est-il entrain de jeter des stratégies idoines de gestion sévère des recettes de l’Etat congolais en cherchant à composer avec ses voisins dont le Rwanda qui a juré une lutte acerbe contre corruption et détournement ? Est-il seulement entrain de consulter ses pairs pour savoir comment il va gérer son mandat prochain de président en exercice de l’Union Africaine ?

    Rwanda National Team 'AMAVUBI' will play their third game in Group F of the Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers 2021 on Thursday November 12th 2020 with the game getting underway at 3.00 pm GMT, in Praia/Cape, at Estádio Nacional 'Blue Shark’ Cabo Verde.

    Rwanda seats bottom of Group F having fallen short in the two previous meetings against Mozambique and Cape Verde. However, Cape Verde seats third of the group with two points after drawing with Cameroon and Mozambique.

    Rwanda National Team Head Coach Vincent Mashami eyes a tough contest between the two sides 'We know the kind of opponent we are playing, we will have to be very cautious since this game gives us a chance to overtake them with victory in Praia, it’s a very tough task at hand considering most of our players have not played a single competitive game in over 7 months but we’ll give it our best shot.'
